Jenna Ortega has been grabbing attention lately for her sizzling scene with Martin Freeman, but she’s no stranger to navigating age differences, having previously worked with Kid Cudi.

The 21-year-old star of “Wednesday” surprised audiences when a scene from her latest film, “Miller’s Girl,” started circulating online.

The scene features Ortega and Freeman, aged 52, in an intense interaction as they depict characters from a narrative penned by Ortega’s role, Cairo Sweet.

Witnessing the actress known for her teenage role in Wednesday engage deeply with the actor famous for his Sherlock Holmes’ sidekick role has stirred unease among many viewers.

However, this isn’t Ortega’s initial experience participating in a scene that includes a significant age difference between characters.

In 2022, Ortega starred alongside Cudi in the horror movie “X,” set in the year 1979.

This film narrates the tale of young filmmakers aiming to produce an adult film in the countryside of Texas.

However, their project takes a dark turn when they are unexpectedly discovered in the act of filming their provocative scenes, leading them into a struggle for survival.

In the film, a then-19-year-old Ortega had to strip off for a sex scene with Cudi, who was 37 at the time.

Tandi received heaps of praise for her role in making everyone feel relaxed and at ease while filming.

During a recent interview with Indie Wire, Ortega expressed her excitement about being a part of the film.

She mentioned, “I was really eager to do the film because it was something I had never done before.”

However, she revealed that her sex scene ‘wasn’t initially in the script’.

She explained: “When I signed on, that wasn’t a part [of the film]. It was something that came later on.”

“[It was] flipping the stereotype over and just taking somebody who you wouldn’t really see in that position suddenly in that position.”

“I think it adds to the spontaneity of the decision and also just the spontaneity of the film.”

Two years later, Ortega found herself collaborating with another intimacy coordinator on “Miller’s Girl,” where Kristina Arjona took charge of ensuring the actors felt safe and comfortable.

Arjona made clear there were ‘many, many people’ who made sure Ortega was happy while filming the more intimate scenes.

Speaking to the Mail Online, she said: “I’m hyper aware of both of my talent and making sure that we’re consistently checking in and that at no point are any of their boundaries being surpassed.”

“And again, making sure – especially with someone who’s significantly younger – that they are giving continuous consent.”
