The idea that black people get pulled over more than white people is something of a phenomenon in itself. Known as DWB (driving while black), many believe that black motorists are unfairly targeted by racist police officers.
The idea has been popularised through a number of movies and TV shows and is still considered by many to be a prominent racial in America. Furthermore, it seems that Philando Castile, the school cafeteria worker whose death at the hands of police was live-streamed on Facebook by his girlfriend, was no exception to this.
