On a list of the world’s most stressful professions, most people would give surgeons, police officers, or soldiers the top spot. I, on the other hand, would have to hand it to live TV presenters. What could be more stressful than being put in charge of a live broadcast that could be ruined by a passing member of the public at any moment?
Second on that list, I’d have to give to news station correspondents who Skype in to live TV shows from all over the world. Why? Well, as a recent interview with the BBC’s South Korea correspondent Robert E Kelly shows, things can go equally as wrong in the comfort of your own home.
A video of the interview features Kelly giving his hard-hitting, professional opinion on the latest developments on South Korea’s unfolding corruption scandal. However, what happened next was about as far from hard-hitting and professional as it is possible to be. What it was, however, was adorable.
